Collaborative Zine Project, 2024. Collaborative Mapping at the FIELD in NCAD, an outdoor learning site. 16 participants collaboratively mapped this feral “Novel Ecology” site, using drawings, words and sounds. Each “map” overlaid the other, careful attention to others was required to “follow’ the direction of the previous participant.

Dervla created a Collaborative Zine with participants using their collective maps. She developed a digital Zine template for this project that can be infinitely re-used by participants for new collaborative publications. The template was created in Google Slides — free software that everyone has access to. No binding materials were required, just folding and scissors.
